Feilding Show
COOKERY AND NEEDLEWORK CLASSES The special attention of ladies is directed to the home industries sections that have been prepared for the 36t.h Feilding (Centennial) Show, which will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 30 and 31 next. There are excellent cookery classes for both novice and open exhibitors and three prizes are offered in all classes. Entries are limited to one only in each class from an exhibitor, so that three different ladies must each win a prize in every class. For the electric oven cookery class, £2 2s is donated as first prize, and £2 Is for the second prize-winner. There are trophies to be won outright in the nov|ce and open cookery sections. Lu the needlework section a wide variety of classes are offered, both in fancy needlework, plain sewing and crafts. The art section includes the very intricate pewter, brass and copper ware, etc. There are needlework see--lious for young ladies under 19 years, and juniors under 15, and these sections should be well supported as there are many excellent glasses and big prize money. We would advise all interested to send for a home industries schedule to the secretary, Feilding Show, Box 98, Feilding, or ’phone 46 office, or 554 privafe.
