Tne president, m liis roport, mentioned that tiio season had been a quiet one, but a considerable amount oi wont had been done. Several new roads hud been opened up, the ramp had been completed and power had been extended to the western extension. The introduction of the Glasgow lease had given general satisfaction, and this was noticeable in the better class of uuild'ing now being erected. In conclusion, Mr. Ferreau mentioned with regret the passing of a very-old and valued member of the committee in the person of the late Mr. A. Alsop. The resignation of the secretary, Mr. A. I). McFJierson, was received with regret, and a record of his services over a period of years was placed in the minutes. The following office-bearers were elected for the - coming year:— President, Mr. M. E. Ferreau; vicepresident, Mr. G. Watchorn; secretary, Mr. S. Rosvall; treasurer, Mr. \V. Ingram; auditor, Mr. G. Fraser; committee, Messrs. A. D. McPherson, L. Andrews, G. Wells, G. Kenyon, C. Parfitt, C. Penny, S. Hartley, F. Pullyn, J. Smith, J. Bald (ex officio); ladies ’ committee, Mesdames 0. Penny, W. Ingram and 8. Kosvall. The following are recommendations to be brought under the notice of the incoming committee for consideration:— Fire alarm at west end of beach, formation of leaseholders ; association, lighting for hall camp site, bathing shed on beach front. A vote of thanks was passed to the local volunteer lire brigade on their re-organisation.
