ARRIVES AT PALMERSTON N. THIS MORNING Mr. J. Hodgcns, M.P., has received word from the Department of Internal Affairs that the special train conveying 400 men from H.M.S. Kamillies will pass through Palmerston North to-day en route to Wanganui. The train will arrive at the station at 10.27 a.m., and after a stop of a quarter of an hour will leave at 10.42. Returning the train will reach Palmerston. North at 7.33 p.m. and leave again at 7.43. The men will be accompanied by the band of H.M.S. Ramilliee. No doubt citizens of Palmerston North will take the opportunity of meeting the brave men of one of Britain’s most famous fighting ships, and there should bo a big crowd at the station when the special arrives.
