Seas (New Zealand waters): Slight to moderate in the Eastern Tasman; light to moderate southerly winds and slight seas in the northern portion; freshening westerly to north-westerly winds and rising seas in the southern portion. Weather: A few showers probable in the extreme southwest and south, but otherwise fair to fine and warmer. YESTERDAY’S WEATHER Auckland: Overcast, moderate wind. Hamilton: Sun and cloud, calm.
