German Reply to Freedom Radio Station
United Freas Association—By Electrie Telegrapb—Copyright. PARIS, Jan. 1. A radio station calling itself sometimes “The Voice of Peace” and at other times “The Awakening France” has been broadcasting German-Soviet propaganda to France. It is believed that the station was instigated by the Nazi authorities as a counter to the German “Freedom” station. Le Matin demands that the station be silenced if it is on French or nearby neutral soil.
