From Our Own Correspondent. Mrs. T. Beagley, accompanied by her son and small daughter, is enjoying a tour of the North island by motor. Mrs. M. Sutherland and Miss Joan Sutherland, of Napier, are the guests of Mrs. A. M. Carson. Mr. and Mrs. K. Abraham and family, of the selioolhouse, Bunnythorpp, having spent a brief holiday at NN aitarere Beach, have left by car to spend the rest of the holidays at Hamilton. Mrs. G. Lassen and her children were Christmas visitors to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Faulkner and family are spending the annual v acation motoring to the Bay of Islands. Mrs. 11.' Cameron, after spending Christmas iu Wellington, has left for liaumer Springs to visit Mr. Cameron, who is receiving treatment there. Mr. and Mrs. J. Pinfold have returned from a visit to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Greener, Wellington, have been visiting their son, Mr. R. Greener, Dixon’s Line, Bunnythorpe. Mr. and Mrs. Coman and family arc motoring over the Wellington province. Mr. and Mrs. Jarrett, Wanganui, were Christmas visitors to their son, Mr. J. Jarrett, Bunnythorpe.

Mr. T. Beagley, of the staff of the post office, Bunnythorpe, has been notified that his application to join the Air Force has been accepted and he has been instructed to enter Ohakea training establishment at an early date.
