Progressive Pairs Tourney CLOSE COMPETITION IN BOTH SECTIONS A large number of bowlers took part in a progressive pairs tourney ou the ' Woodville Bowling Club’s green on New I Year’s Day. The weather was conducive to outdoor sport and with the green playing well it was natural that the day should have been a most enjoyable one. | In the skips section R. H. Morgan, with five wins, and S. Aim, with 4s, were winner and runner-up respectively, while among the leads G. Lovell had 4J wins, L. Hurley and W. H. Nelson each experiencing four wins. The individual performances the various players in loth sections are set out below.
