Japs Withdraw From Hong Kong Border
Received Monday, 9.20 p.m. HONG KONG, Dec. 31. After four months’ occupation the Japanese to-day completed their withdrawal from Chinese territory bordering Hong Kong. The withdrawal was prompted, according to an official Japanese announcement, "out of friendliness towards Britain."
