St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church

REPAIRS URGENTLY NEEDED At the meeting of the board of managers of St. Paul’s Church held recently matters relating to the repairs to the church properties came under review. A builder’s report was received, stating that all the piles under the church needed replacing. The church will be celebrating its jubilee in 1940 and it was decided to make these very urgently needed repairs, together with some alterations and repairs needed at the Manse, a part of the jubilee effort. Already the church grounds have been planted and new concrete steps placed at the main entrance to the church, but these other Tepairs will entail a considerable outlay and a special financial appeal will be made. It was decided also to appoint subcommittees to arrange for the garden party which will be held at the end of January and for the congregational picnic to be held at the end of February.
