Mayfair Theatre
“FRED AND MAGGIE EVERYBODY” PERSONAL APPEARANCE “Fred and Maggie” are coming to the Mayfair Theatre on Monday next, New Year’s Day, at 8 p.m. to make a personal appearance. You have heard them on the radio—now see them on the stage. Probably no radio pair has entered into the hearts and homes of listeners more than “Fred and Maggie Everybody.” Their tri-weekly broadcasts from the ZB stations have been avidly listened to since their first appearance on the air in the very early days of commercial broadcasting in New Zealand, and now their presence hero in person will be a highlight in the lives of their “fans.” Also, in conjunction with “Fred and Maggie,” the management of the Mayfair Theatre announces that they will screen ‘ 4 Calling All Marines,” a timely film dealing with espionage. Reservations may be had by ringing the Mayfair Theatre from 2 p.m. daily—it would be a wise plan to secure your seats now.
