Neutrals Refuse to Carry German Goods

EFFECT OF EXPORT BLOCKADE Received Friday, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 29. The Ministry of Economic Warfare stated that neutral shipowners having refused to carry German goods and attempts of Nazi exporters to induce them to run the British blockade having failed, neutral shipowners aro first asking Britain whether she will allow cargoes to pass. Many applications have been refused and the applicant in each case declined to load German goods. No German exports have yet been seized.
