Switzerland Strengthening Her Defences
BLIND AS ANTI-AIRCRAFT LISTENERS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Friday, 7.40 p.m. BERNE, Dec. 29. The Commander-in-Chief, General Guisan, has ordered the creation of a fourth army corps of between 80,000 and 100,000 strong with the object of building up the defences before the spring thaw. Thousands hitherto exempted are being again examined for service, while blinded persons are in corporatcd as anti aircraft listeners.
