The members of the newly-formed , -Rowing and Social Club provided a treat for holiday-makers on Boxing Day when they arranged launch trips up the river for everybody. On New Tear’s Day they intend holding a regatta when it is anticipated that all the launches at present at Tangimoana, ap- . proximately forty, will be taking part. It is the endeavour of the club to pro- i cure up-to-date club rooms as soon as 1 possible) and they appreciated the generous response to their appeal for funds on Boxing Day. The competition was won by Air. D. Dear, of Rongotea.
