PETULANT COMPLAINT FROM BERLIN
(Received 28. 12.45 pjn.) BERLIN, Dec. 27. The German official news agency complains that the Allies’ military operations frequently disturbed the Christmas peace, “upsetting the Christmas mood of the German troops, who made every effort to keep the peace and avoided activity conducive to fighting, but enemy patrols forced the adoption of the offensive.’* A Paris message says that fog, cold and aemi-visibility prolong the Christmas quiet on the Western Front Aerial activity is at a standstill on both sides. The Berlin morning communique says that except for febble enemy artillery fire, the front is quiet
