Matamau Troops

FUSLIO FAREWELL Two Matamau members of the Special Force (first echelon} home on ilnal leave were recently tendered a farewell at a dance in the Matamau Hall. They were Privates L. Hansen and Barton, who were the recipients of wristlet watches as mementoes from the residents, the presentation being made by Mr. Cammock, president of the entertainment committee. Piri Piri residents joined in the function and on their behalf Mr. A. H. Omundsen presented Private Kilkolly, another member of the special force, with a wallet. Messrs. A. Jackson and Rodgers were masters of ceremonies. Several Woodville residents, including Privates V. and W. Birchall, were present at the function.
