The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report receiving a medium entry of pigs and a large entry of poultry at their weekly sale. Pigs were in very keen demand, particularly weaners and heavy porkers, resulting in an improvement in price* realised the previous week. Poultry was somewhat easier in price due to the large entry that came forward. Fruit and produce were iu the usual supply. Pigs: Best weaners, 20s to 2Gs each; medium weaners, 13s to 19s; slips, 24s to 28s each; heavy store, 30s to 38s; light stores, 25s to 32s Gd; porkers, 41s, £2 18s, £3 to £3 10s. Poultry; Bset W.L. hens, Gs to 7s per pair; heavy hens, 8s to 10s; light hens, 3s to 3s. ducks, young, 8s to 11s; old ducks, 4s to Gs; cockerels, prime, 7s to 9s; medium, 4s to 6s; small, 2s to 4s; geese, 3s to 4s Gd each; turkeys, hens, 7s to Bs.
