Captured Nazi Ship

ESCORTED THROUGH PANAMA CANAL BALBOA, Dec. 25. The German ship Dusseldorf to-day began her transit of tho Panama Canal, the German captain, Peter Peterson, navigating her under the orders of a British naval commander and a prize crew. A 17-year-old seaman who jumped overboard was drowned. A Santiago message on December 15 said it was officially stated the Dusßeldorf was captured, not sunk. She carried foodstuffs and 700 tons of oil.
