Price of Whisky and Gin
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 20. Although the price of case whisky and giu in Wellington has been increased by (id and 3d per bottle respectively it is not likely there will be any increase in Auckland until possibly after the holidays. The increases in Wellington were authorised by the Price Investigation Tribunal. “Auckland merchants have not yet increased the wholesale price,” said Air. Griffen, president of the Auckland Licensed Victuallers’ Association. “Until the price to tho trade is increased hotelkeepers will not raiso it to the public. ”
