Second Charge

MELBOURNE, Dee. 22. A second charge of having shot with intent to murder has been made against Ledwedge Vincent Lawior, who tired a shot _ outside the home of the Duchess of Kent in London and who was arrested in Melbourne on December 8 and charged with having shot George Anderson Kelly, with intent to murder. The second charge refers to Leslie Giles, who, with Anderson, was found in St. Kilda shot in the back. Lawior was remanded on both charges. Operations have been performed on both Giles and Kelly. The former is still very ill but the latter is progressing.
