Ration on Coal, Gas And Electricity Lifted
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Dec. 21. It was announced to-day that restrictions on consumers of coal, gas and elcctrictiy had been suspended. Since the “ration** was raised to 100 per cent, of last year’s consumption, sound and substantial economy has been practiced by the public, and the Government decided therefore In the present conditions that it was not necessary for tho restrictions to be retained.
