Annual Function Conducted By Court Woodville, A.O.F. SANTA CLAUS POPULAR The annual children’s Christmas party of the Court Woodville, A.0.F., was held in the Foresters * Hall on Thursday evening. There was a very large attendance of enthusiastic kiddies and their parents and all thoroughly onjoyed the function. Bro. E, 11. Giles welcomed those present with a few well-chosen words and trusted they would all spend a pleasant evening. The highlight of the party was the eagerly-awaited entrance of Santa Claus with his enormous bag of toys for the younger folk and after the distribution of theso the children adjourned to partake of a delicious supper and icecream. After healthy appetites had been appeased, Sister Chatfield presided at the piano for games and dances, her two daughters providing a pleasant interlude with an exhibition Irish jig and sailors’ hornpipe. Dancing and games continued until the function had to be reluctantly terminated.
