From Our Own Correspondent. Children’s Picnic On Saturday the Rangiotu Women’s Institute entertained the children of the district at a Christmas party. The day was oeautii'uily fine, and conditions ideal foi A novelty sports pro'•nm was held oil the tennis courts, and at the conclusion of the races a pari, tea was served in the hall. Ice creams and sweets were also given out during tin afternoon. Paper hats, squeakers. r balloons were also distributed and added greatly to the enjoyment of the children. jA peanut hunt provided the children with I much excitement, and was won by Janet 'White and Eric Alsop.
