Special Force Officers Gazetted
The following appointments to and promotions in the New Zealand Special Force have been gazetted, the officers appointed being seconded from the units shown after their names and all rank being temporary:— Headquarters, 2nd. N.Z. Division.— lieutenant M. Douglas seconded from 2nd. N.Z. Divisional Cavalry Regiment Second N.Z. Divisional Cavalry Regiment.—Lieutenant R. B. McQueen (North Auckland Mounted Rifles), Sec-ond-Lieutenant J. G. Wynyard (exn.c.o., Waikato Mounted Rifles); Sec-ond-Lieutenant F. L. Ward (NelsonMarlborough Mounted Rifles). Second N.Z. Divisional Signals.— Captain E. W. Hayton (Wellington Regiment), attached to Otago Mounted Rifles. Eighteenth Auckland Battalion.—Se-cond-Lieutenant J. Richardson (4th. Field Battery, N.Z.A.) Nineteenth Wellington Battery.— Captain S. F. Hartnell to be Major; Lieutenant E. C. Morton to be Captain; Second-Lieutenant J. H. Danderson to be Lieutenant. Second N.Z. Divisional Petrol Company, N.Z.A.S.C.—Second-Lieutenant H. C. Aitken (late British Army). Ninth Light Aid Detachment, N.Z. Ordnance Corps.—Second-Lieutenant E. F. Cooper. Tenth Light Aid Detachment.—Sec-ond-Lieutenant G. D. Pollock (ex-N.Z, Engineers). Thirteenth Light Aid Detachment.— Second-Lieutenant J. O. Kelsey (exN.Z. Engineers). Sixteenth Light Aid Detachment.— Second-Lieutenant R. H. England (exN.Z. Artillery). New Zealand Base Depot.—Lieutenant W. J. Boyd, M. 8., Ch.B. (N.Z. Medical Corps).
