Misses E. and M. Taylor will spend the Christmas holidays in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Taylor left yesterday to spend Christmas and New Year in Napier. Mr. and Mrs. J. Milne Allan and Miss D. Milne Allan are spending Christmas in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Carruthcrs and family left yesterday by car to spend a fortnight in Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Morison, Tuscan Hills, are spending a vacation at Eastbourne, Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Swainson and Mr. G. M, Swainson leave to-day to spend Christmas at Hastings. Captain and Mrs. J. M. Riedy are spending Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. D. Kelly, Main Street, Pahiatua. Mr. Martin and his two granddaughters are spending the Christmas holidays with Mrs. E. Daldy, Kakariki. Mr. P. R. Boagey, Tyndall Street, leaves to-day to spend Christmas at Waitarere, after which he will visit the capital city. Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Tinney and Miss Beryl Tinney leave to-day for Tauranga, where they will bo spending the legal vacation. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Greaves and family, Main Street, Pahiatua, leave to-day to spend Christmas and New Year at Raumati beach. Private Jack Callender, of No. I .Squadron, Divisional Cavalry, who is on his final leave, spent- a short holiday with Mr. Dennis Webb. All the Hukanui third grade footballers wish him the best of luck and a safe return.
