STEENCHASE WETJu LINDRUM PLEASES r OVER ONCE ROUND From Our Own Correspondent HASTINGS, Dec. 21. The Hastings tracks were not so busy this morning. Cullen) skipped smartly over half a mile in 504 secs, which was above the average. • • «* Taharakau (J. Forsyth), who arrived on Monday last, pleased when registering 51secs for a half-mile. The other members of W. Turnbull's team went on to Awapuni this morning with Black Majesty and Proclamation. • • # Isis (P. Akins) was the equal of Mimetical (H. Murray) over half a mile in 521 secs, but both could have improved on the recorded time. Flying Flag (L. Cullen) was not doing her best when running once round in 1.434. • • • Le Toquet (E . Baker) did a five-fur-long working gallop in 72secs. Gold Craft (J. Forsyth), in a similar effort over a half-mile, took 57secs.
