Officer’s Mission in England.

Ono member of the official party which flew to England with the actingPrime Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, in October, Lieutenant-Colonel W. G. Stevens, of Wellington, has returned to Now Zealand. He is secretary of the Organisation for National Security. Lieutenant-Colonel Stevens, who flew from England to Australia on his homeward journey, left in advance of other members of the Ministerial party. He accompanied Mr. Fraser on his recent official tour of France, and visited the squadron of the Royal Air Force which has as one of its members a New Zealand pilot who was the victor of a highaltitude battle that resulted in the destruction of a large German machine. In view of the nature of his mission, Lieutenant-Colonel Stevens was unable to discuss it on his return to New Zealand. He will await the arrival of the other members of the party in Wellington.
