from Our Own Correspondent. A well attended gift afternoon was held recently for the purpose of making a presentation to Miss K. England, who is to be married shortly. An enjoyable time was spent and competitions were won bv Mrs I . Shannon and Mrs. C. B. Palmer. After the gifts opened, Mrs. stokes, on behalf of ,' V ° men s Institute, presented Miss England with a jug vase, wishing her happiness in her future life.
