Gales Decreasing F«r Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anti-cyclone now extends from the south-west Tasman sea in a northeasterly direction while pressure is still rather low in the south and south-east. Winds: Westerly to south-westerly predominating moderate to strong and gradually decreasing. Seas (New Zealand waters.): Jttough in Cook and Foveaux Strait areas and rather rough elsewhere on the west coast and south of East Cape. Moderate north of East Cape. Eastern Tasman: Moderate to fresh but decreasing south-westerly winds; moderate to rather rough seas. Weather: Some scattered showers in western and far southern districts and at a few places east of the ranges; otherwise fair to fine with temperatures cool to moderate.
