MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. (Special to "Times.") NAPIER, Feb. 18. f A meeting of tho executive of the Hawke Bay War Relief Association was held at Napier last night. The following branch returns were adopted:—Dannevirke, December, payments £ll4 2/2, receipts £47 10/2; Dannevirke, January, £234 3/5, £l5B 0/4; Hastings, December, £142 7/11, £lOl 18/6; Hastings, January, £264 11/3, £ll9 16/7; Takapau, • December and January, £45 2/6, £24 15/4; Waipawa, December and January, , £l9 4/-; Waipukurau, December and January, £44 3/5, £26 12/3; Napier. December, £227 15/6, £l6l 12/10; Napier, January, £199 7/4, £135 9/4; Woodville, December and January, £IC 1/2, £64 9/7. Totals, £1287 14/8 and £859 8/11. The secretary reported that assistance had been granted since the previous meeting of the executive to soldiers and dependents amounting to £991 4/3, comprising grants £567 4/8, loans £225 5/1, and payments on account of other societies £I9S 14/5. Details are as follow: Grants to soldiers and dependents.— Dannevirke branch, 98 soldiers £139 3/4, 21 dependents £32: Hastings, 80 soldiers £137 10/7, 7 dependents £6 12/6; Takapau, 16 soldiers £26 5/-, 2 dependents £4; Waipukurau, 31 soldiers £l9 .12/5; Woodville, 3 2 soldiers £8 19/6; Napier, 104 soldiers £172 3/8, 13 dependents £l9 19/8. Loans to soldiers.—Hastings branch, 12 soldiers £7B 6/8; Napier, 22 soldiers £146 IS/5. Payments on account of other socioties.—Dannevirke branch. 26 soldiers £ll7 6/5; Hastings, 7 soldiers £3O 19/5; Waipukurau, 2 soldiers £ll 15/7; Napier, 20 soldiers £3B 13/-.
