An outstanding feature in the Wellington Horticultural Society 's mid summer show, which was held last week, was the brightness and depth oi colour in the hydrangea section. Hods and pinks predominated in the winning classes, but blues, purples, mauves and greens were tastefully displayed in the decorative sections at the show. Father: “What is the time!" Engaged Daughter: **Alfred's watch is not going." Father: "And what about Alfred 1 himself?"
