(From Our Own Correspondent) j It Is now five months since the local Catholic Church was destroyed by Are and those interested in the re-erection of , I the church have been busily seeking ways' and means of replacement with as fine a! structure as is possible. Tenders have been called for the erection of a very fine I building in brick and concrete which will be more imposing and substantial than the old wooden building which did duty for so many years. To help meet the cost of the work, the committee has decided on social functions. The first is to take place on Wednesday. February ‘Z4, by way of a grand concert and dance, with a splendid array of talented artists. ! Full details will be advertised in this paper at a later date. The committee feel Assured of a capacity house.
