Woodville Sheep Fair

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Woodville sheep fair as under: “We submitted a large entry of some 7600 sheep comprised principally of breeding ewes of all ages, with several pens of lambs to a large attendance of buyers from the Manawatu, Rangtikei, Wairarapa and Dannevirke districts and have to report a highly successful sale throughout with an excellent clearance at auction. Only three pens of sheep out of the total yarding failed to meet vendors’ idea of values.
