No Great Prospects For Dominion Butter

IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA "The quality of dairy produce in the United States is not on the whole up to the standards attained in New Zealand," declared Professor Riddet. "But for the very high tariff imposed against imports wo would sell our butter readily and very successfully there on n purely quality basis. For various reasons it is unlikely the quality of United States butter will improve in the near future, but so long as the tariff remains thero is not a great prospect for our butter in the States."
