Rescue crews worked at top speed in four widely separated western areas, to free over 100 persons snowbound. Thirty-two persons, including an ex pectant mother, marooned since December 27 on the snow-buried north rim of the Grand Canyon, have notified tlio approaching rescuers that food is running low and they feared another snowstorm.
