Strong Support Accorded Competitive Classes DAY OPENS IN AUSPICIOUSLY. The Pahiatua Agricultural and Pastoral Association's 27th annual show was held on the Pahiatua Showgrounds yesterday. Heavy showers fell until mid-day after which the sun shone at intervals and conditions were fairly pleasant for some time. The gate takings last year were £lB7, and this year's figures were only a few shillings short of that mark. Competitive results were as follow: — RING COMPETITIONS.
