Feilding Plunket Society

MOTHERS’ CLUB MEETING An interesting talk on cooking was given by a member at tho monthly meeting of tho Feilding Plunket So ciety’3 Mothers’ Club held on Thursday evening. Those present were Mesdames W. Drube, J. Carrick, A. V. Svendsen, J. G. McLeod, E. Jones, S. Taylor, E. D. McLeod, I. Goldfinch, J. Cantwell, C. Ilostick, It. Berg, J. Blake, S. Norris, I. D. Fuuncll and A. C. McCorkindalo (president of the society). It was announced that tho winner of the pink tablecloth donated by Mrs. C. Crisp was Miss A. Clarke. For tho next meeting a health talk will be given by Miss Thompson and also instructions in knitting for which those intending to be present are asked to bring their own materials. There will also bo a competition for the best piece of quilting. Before the conclusion of the meeting a dainty supper was served by Mes dames I. Funnell and R. Berg.
