Improving and Cool Pat Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Yesterday's depression is moving away eastward but a fresh secondary is forming west of the Mouth island today and should cross it to-night. An intense anti-cyclone covers south-east-ern Australia. Winds: West to south-west at first and in places veering temporarily to northrwast but becoming more generally southerly to-morrow; force moderate to strong and reaching gale force in some exposed positions. fcieas (New Zealand waters: Hough north of Farewell Spit and a considerable southerly swell thence southwards; elsewhere moderate at first but later rising south of East Cape. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate to strong south-westerly to __ southerly winds'and rathhr rough to rough seas. Weather: Still changeable and rather unsettled with rain at times in most districts but an improvement commencing during to-morrow. Temperatures: Cool.
