Unprecedented Shortage of Motor-cars
REARMAMENT ABSORBS NECESSARY MATERIALS. Received Thursday, Midnight. LONDON, Feb. 11. Lack of materials, especially steel, is causing a shortage of motor cars unprecedented since immediately after the war. Manufacturers are unable to supply new models ordered as long ag> as October. The chief reason is the absorption of materials by the re&rma rnent programme.
