Shops and Offices Act

MASTER GROCERS CALLING ATTENTION. Included in the recent amendments to the Shops and Offices Act is a clause providing for a half-day from noon, and m this connection the Master Grocers Lave found that this, together with the chaoge to Saturday half-holiday, gives them a particularly heavy rush each week-end. Every assistant must finish las duties sharp at noun and in order to assist in this direction the public are respectfully requested to place their orders as early as possible. Unless Coders are given before 10 a.m. on Saturdays delivery of the goods on the same * morning cannot be guaranteed, but it is felt that the public will cooperate and to enable the grocers to continue to give 100 per cent, service.
