The Daily Herald, commenting ou the fact that at one stage of the national fitness debate yesterday there were only thirty members of the Commons present out of a House of CIO, while there were barely thirty members present all day during to-day’s debate on the Army Reserve Bill extending the active reserve service from two to five years, says: * 4 Members are striking a blow at democratic government by their neglect.’ 1
