Oddfellows’ Lodge

FORTNIGHTLY MEETING, There was a good attendance at the meeting of Loyal Mangatainoka Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F., held on Monday night 7 over which Sister E. Harris, N.G., pret sided. J Accounts totalling £l9 3s 4d were passed for payment. A letter was received from Loyal ' Manawatu Lodge inviting members to be present at the annual picnic of that lodge, to bo held at Foxton beach on Sunday next. The Wellington District Hospital Association forwarded copies of the report , and oalance-sheet for the year just } ended. A suggestion that a social evening be held for members and their wives or - friends during the coming winter was favourably received. Further action was deferred until quarter night. Two members received instruction in the White Degree and one member in the Gold Degree.
