SECRET TESTS CARRIED OUT. United Press Association—By Electric i’eiegrapu —* opyriKin.. LONDON, February 8. The Daily Herald and Daily Mirror give detailed accounts of two years of secret tests carried out by a dozen scientists in a room of the biochemical laboratory at Cambridge, with sealed windows and chimneys, which revealed that deadly gases cannot be kept out, and that even wearers of gas-masks in the room were susceptible to influence.
