Prime Minister’s First Official Tour of South Island

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Lust Night. A ten days’ tour of Canterbury, Otago and Southland will bo made by the Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) this mouth. He leaves Wellington on Thursday, February 18, and will be accompanied by the Alinister of Labour (Hon. H. T. Armstrong) who will relieve Air Savage in receiving deputations on industrial questions. Tho trip will be the Prime Minister’s first to the South Island since he took office and similarly in point of time it will be Air Armstrong’s first Alinisterial visit to Otago and Southland.
