PERSONALITIES
At the monthly meeting of the Manawatu County Council yesterday a resolution was passed expressing regret at the serious illness of Mr J. K. Horn, blow.
An old and well-known Wellington resident, Air. William James Jupp, of Willis street, died yesterday afternoon at the age of 75. His death removes the head of a family closely identified with Wellington for three generations. He was a leading figure in the brass band movement.
