It is one of the greatest love stories ever unfolded on the screen. Loretta Young is superb in the title role, playing the part with deep feeling and understanding. Her highly artistic performance should further her career tremendously. As Ramona, Miss Youug will undoubtedly wiu a host of new admirers. Don Ameche is the perfect Alessandro. Ho has turned iu an excellent performance in a most exacting part, that of Ramona’s great love. This young radio favourite is bound to win a coveted place for himself in the world of filiudoni. Kent Taylor is a splendid Felipe, the son of the patrician Moreno family, and Paulino Frederick is excellent in the role of his mother, the stern Sonora Moreno. Jane Harwell as Auut Ri Hyur, * the kindly Tennessee homesteader, Katherine Do Mille as the Indian servant girl, and John Carrradine as Jim Farrar, have all done fine jobs on their various assignments.
