Mr. and Mrs. C. B. McClure, of Feilding, are visiting Napier. Miss Grace Histed, of Chaytor street, has as her guest Miss B. Bnelling, of Auckland. Mrs. A. F. D. East, of Auckland, who has been visiting Mrs. E. East, Carroll . street., left on Saturday for Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. 11. Kilgallon, of Palmerston North, have left on a motoring trip of the north. Mrs. W. Caldwell, of Gisborne, is on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. H. B. Johnston, Cheltenham. Mrs. R. Stevens, of Manaia, is the guest of Mrs. D. A. Higgie, of Halcombe road, Feilding. Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Mclnness, of Feilding, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Gibbons, of Kirikau, Taumarunui. Miss Barbara Evans, of Palmerston North, was the adjudicator in the Highland and national dancing section at the Woodville Show on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. F. O'Connor and children have returned from a pleasant holiday spent at Milford Beach, Auckland. Miss Grace Johnston, who has been through a refresher course in piano with Mr. A. Sversjensky, Sydney, returned to Woodville on Saturday. Mrs. M. M. Fraser, Wellington, Miss Mollio Shepheard, Gisborne, and Miss Betty Richardson, Wanganui, have returned to their homes after boing the guests of Mrs. H. J. Booth, of Cheltenham. Miss Amo Bennett, of Wellington xs the guest of Mrs. E. C. Barnett, Fitzherbert avenue. Miss Bennett is spending a few days with the Palmerston North Y.W.C.A. before .proceeding to Whangarei as general secretary. Bister L. Bull, of the Palmerston North Hospital staff, has left for Napier to spend a few weeks with her people before leaving by the Rotorua on March 6 on a trip to England and the Continent. Her sisters, Miss Cora Bull, who has just completed her training at the New Plymouth Hospital and Miss Joan Bull, masseuse at the Napier Hospital, will accompany her.
ATflivng Paimerstonia'hs planning to see the Coronation celebrations are Miss Minnie Christensen, of the staff of Messrs. Collinson and Cunninghame'a, and Miss Doreen Mitchell, a member of Messrs. G. H. Bennett and Co.'s staff, who expects to be away for a year. They leavo Wellington on March 2 for London. Miss Christensen, expects to proceed to Denmark following the Coronation an# later will return to to further her experience.
