WELLINGTON, Last Night The Wellington Trotting Club’s summer meeting concluded at Hutt Park to-day when the weather was line and the track fast. There was an excellent attendance and the totalisator returns were £28,031 as against £12,350 10s for the second day last year which was a Monday. The total for the meeting was £42 137 10s as against £23,952 10s last year, an increase of £18,185. Results were:— KAIKOHE HANDICAP, of £130; 3.43 class; li miles. 4-5 TOMMY BOY, scr. (L. F. Bonny Azure was always in the lead with King’s Warrior and Gamble in support. Graham Direct improved his position three furlongs from homo and he was able to last long enough to beat Gamble for the minor money.
