Injured Man Succumbs

MAIN STREET ACCIDENT. The death occurred in the Hospital at 7.4 sa.m. on Saturday of Mr. William Sykes, formerly of Jflketabuna and lately of Palmerston North, from tho injuries he suffered when he was struck by a motor-car in Main street on Wednesday afternoon. An inquest was opened before Mr. A. J. Graham, Coroner, and after evidence of identification had been taken, proceedings were adjourned till Wednesday.
