Parachute Jump To-morrow
DISPLAY AT MILSON Mr. G. W. Sellars will definitely make .he last descent of his season in Palmerston North to-morrow afternoon when he will again attempt a parachute drop from the exceptionally high alti- , tude of one mile. It was originally his intention to leave Palmerston North earlier in the week but as a large proportion of the public were disappointed last week owing to the uncertainty as to whether he would jump under the unfavourable weather conditions, he has promised to make one last display at Alilson to-morrow. Those who witnessed his mile high drop at Milson last Sunday could not fail to have been thrilled even though the exceptionally higu wind made conditions for the public somewhat unpleasant a'nd it is anticipated that a very large crowd will visit the aerodrome to-morrow after noon. The Manawatu Aero Club has always assisted Mr. Sellars in his displays as far ns has been in their power to do so and it is anticipated that or. this occasion both the club’s Moths will be in use and it will therefore be possible to give the public something different to the usual aerobatic displays.
