Scattered Rain in East; Fair in Other Parts P«r Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. ▲ slight depression has been crossing the North Island to-day, but an anticyclone of moderate intensity now covers the Dominion. Another shallow depression is advancing across the Tasman. Winds: Light to fresh southerlies changing to northerlies to-morrow about und south of Cook Strait. Seas (New Zealand waters); Moderate to rather rough between Banks Fcnmsula and East Cape and in part 3 of the Cook Strait area; otherwise slight to moderate. Eastern Tasman: Light to moderate variable winds at first, southerlies predominating; later winds tending northerly; seas slight to moderate. Weather: Cloudy with scattered light rain at first between Hawke’s Bay and East Cape; otherwise fair to fine. Cool to moderate temperatures.
